Making the Obvious Choice
Our story is one of courage and conviction – five learning professionals who committed back in 2013 to make a difference to how organisations learn.

It Starts
It starts 1 July 2013 – we take on a training evidence system implementation using apps to track the performance of GP registrars completing patient consults. We use xAPI to record the assessment event.
Around this same time we’re working to deliver Classroom in a Box to school children in the developing world using a unique configuration of tablet technology, a wifi network and a military spec suitcase.
A transformational initiative that pops up classrooms in rugged environments is stalled by an act of parliament and the chance for thousands of kids to experience a 21st century education is lost (at least for now).

In 2014
In 2014 we go on a crusade to kill the LMS and we do it for one of our valued clients – implementing Australia’s first Modern Learning System at the start of 2015.
Corporate Australia takes a little longer than the medical fraternity to get to grips with the future of technology enabled learning beyond the LMS and without SCORM. We build Thrive, a self-directed learning platform to prepare employees for the future of work. It’s an ambitious, adventurous project – one with many lessons learnt. We use those lessons to iterate, moving from an avant garde attempt at an xAPI ecosystem to a learning experience platform that helps employees search and find microlearning resources.
